This website is not legal advice. No page, essay, field note, framework, diagram, newsletter issue, or email exchange on or through this Site constitutes legal advice, and none of it creates an attorney–client relationship. If you need legal advice, retain counsel — through a signed engagement agreement with this practice or another qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
1. Informational content only
Fidem Praxis publishes this Site — including the Trifecta Operating Model™, the Journal, Praxis Lab field notes, and descriptions of service lines — for general information and marketing purposes. Legal outcomes depend on specific facts, jurisdictions, and timing. Nothing here is tailored to your situation, and you should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of anything on this Site without obtaining advice from counsel engaged for that purpose.
2. No attorney–client relationship
Wasim M. Amin is an attorney licensed in New York and Massachusetts. However, viewing this Site, subscribing to the Journal, connecting on LinkedIn, exchanging email, or holding an introductory conversation does not make Fidem Praxis or Mr. Amin your lawyer. An attorney–client relationship is formed only by a mutually executed written engagement agreement, after a conflicts check. Until then, information you send is not privileged and may not be treated as confidential — please do not send sensitive details of any matter.
3. Consulting, training, and AI-deployment work
Portions of the practice — strategy consulting, AI architecture and deployment, practitioner training, and certification programs — are professional consulting services, not the practice of law, unless the applicable engagement agreement expressly states otherwise. Training materials, workshops, playbooks, prompt libraries, and certifications are educational; completing them does not make the participant, or their organization, compliant with any law, and does not constitute legal advice to any participant.
4. AI systems and outputs
The practice designs, deploys, and governs artificial-intelligence systems. AI systems are probabilistic: their outputs can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and they require human professional review. Descriptions of governance methods, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, or accuracy outcomes on this Site are descriptions of methodology — not a warranty that any system, including systems we design, will perform without error or that its outputs may be relied upon without qualified human judgment.
5. Prior results and testimonials
References on this Site to past engagements and outcomes — including transaction values, liability-reduction percentages, and efficiency figures — describe specific matters under specific circumstances. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Every engagement differs.
6. Jurisdictional limits
Mr. Amin practices U.S. law and is admitted in New York and Massachusetts only. Content touching other legal systems — including EU regulation (GDPR, DORA, the EU AI Act), Gulf and Saudi frameworks (including the Saudi PDPL), and other cross-border regimes — is comparative and informational, drawn from advisory and published work; it is not an opinion on foreign law, and local counsel should be engaged where foreign law governs. This Site does not solicit engagements in jurisdictions where doing so would be impermissible.
7. Attorney advertising
Portions of this Site may be considered Attorney Advertising under applicable rules, including the New York Rules of Professional Conduct. Fidem Praxis is the trade name under which the practice operates; legal services are provided by Wasim M. Amin, Esq.
8. Third-party content
Links to third-party sites, platforms, and publications are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content and do not endorse them. References to third-party products, platforms, or trademarks (including governance-software platforms we may deploy or configure for clients) belong to their respective owners and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
